Il y a de bonnes raisons de penser qu’aussi longtemps que la corruption aura une telle prégnance sur la société camerounaise, seuls les plus fortunés et les individus ayant un large réseau de connaissances pourront avoir accès aux services publics, aux fonctions administratives ou aux droits. A ce sujet, Sévérin Cécile ABEGA disait qu’avec la corruption, « on a peur d’affronter un plus riche que soi, ou quelqu’un que l’on considère comme ayant un meilleur capital relationnel ou financier » (8) .
