Pipistrel présentera au salon inter

Pipistrel présentera au salon international de l’ULM de Blois (30 et 31 août 2014) un avion ultra-léger biplace électrique, développé en partenariat avec Siemens. Cet avion qui répondra aux normes ULM et LSA reprend la cellule de l’Alpha Trainer. Il est équipé d’un moteur Siemens de 85 kW pesant environ 14 kg et développant une puissance supérieure à celle du Rotax 912, selon le constructeur. Il permettrait d’obtenir un taux de montée de l’ordre de 1.000 ft/mn et offrirait une autonomie d’environ une heure de vol, plus une réserve de 30 mn. Siemens étudie une batterie rechargeable en moins d’une heure et facilement échangeable. Pipistrel ambitionne de commercialiser cet avion destiné à la formation de base à partir de 2015. Le prix de vente devrait se situer autour de 100.000 euros.
